Mount Evo at The Kent Classic 2025

This autumn, Mount Evo was proud to take part in The Kent Classic 2025, one of the UK’s most accessible and scenic cycling events of the year. Held on Saturday 25th October 2025 at Lingfield Park Racecourse in Surrey, this sportive brought together riders of all abilities for a memorable day of cycling through the rolling hills and stunning landscapes of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Kent Classic is a cycling sportive designed to welcome riders of all abilities. With multiple route distances available, the event allows participants to choose a challenge that suits their experience and fitness level. Riders travelled through rolling countryside and quiet rural roads, including areas around Hever Castle and the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, making it a rewarding ride both physically and visually.

Participants could choose from three distances, ranging from a shorter introductory route to a demanding long route for experienced riders. Each route was fully signposted and supported, ensuring a safe and enjoyable cycling experience from start to finish. Feed stations, mechanical support, event photography, and finish line medals all contributed to the professional and welcoming atmosphere that defines this cycling event.

The Kent Classic is not only about riding. The event also supports Alzheimer’s Research UK, helping raise awareness and funds for dementia research. This charitable element adds purpose to the ride and reflects the positive impact that cycling events can have beyond sport alone.

Mount Evo attended the event, giving riders and visitors the opportunity to see our modular bike rack range in person. Throughout the day, we spoke with cyclists preparing for their rides, those returning from the course, and supporters attending the event. It was a great opportunity to connect with the cycling community and demonstrate how vacuum mounted racks can make attending cycling events easier and more accessible.
