Piste – Mount Evo’s New Vacuum-Mounted Ski & Snowboard Rack

On the 5th of December 2025, Mount Evo proudly launched the Piste Ski & Snowboard Rack, a significantly updated evolution of our vacuum-mounted ski & snowboard rack. Building on the success of the original Piste, the 2025 Piste incorporates 11 new features, delivering improved performance and usability on the road.

Designed to deliver the same ease, strength, and adaptability that customers have come to expect from Mount Evo’s modular transport systems, the latest Piste brings even greater simplicity and flexibility to winter travel. It allows skis and snowboards to be transported securely without the need for roof bars, fitting kits, or permanent hardware, making it a practical solution for modern drivers who value convenience and versatility.

Built around industrial-grade vacuum cups, the Piste Ski & Snowboard Rack mounts securely to any car with a smooth roof surface, including painted surfaces and panoramic glass. Quick to install and easy to remove, this proven vacuum technology delivers exceptional holding strength without the need for roof bars or permanent hardware. Each individual vacuum cup has a break force of 100kg, with 4 vacuum cups across Piste there is a combined break force of 400kg, ensuring safety throughout the journey and delivering confidence in a wide range of driving conditions.

One of the defining advantages of Piste is its modular design. Much like our bike racks, Piste is designed to be mounted only when needed. When not in use, it can be removed in minutes and stored compactly, making it ideal for drivers who don’t want permanent roof equipment affecting fuel economy or aesthetics.
